2022 GOTAFE GVL Premiers Crowned
The GOTAFE Goulburn Valley League (GVL) hosted its first Grand Finals since 2019 yesterday at Deakin Reserve.
In a day that can only be described as near perfect conditions, Premiers were crowned across five grades of netball and four grades of football.
League Chair Jacqui Hudgson said, “We were thrilled to see Grand Finals back after such a long hiatus. Crowds flocked to Deakin Reserve to throw their support behind the 9 different clubs that were vying for Premiership glory. We saw thrilling games in both the football and netball and we crowned our first premiers since 2019.”
For the first time ever, all five games of netball and four games of football were livestreamed on Cluch with full commentary for all games from the GVL’s Commentary Team.
Hudgson said, “Our commentary team, led by Michael Van Dorsser, delivered a day of excellent commentary across every game of football and netball. This was a first for the League and all feedback received so far has been extremely positive and complimentary. We are thankful to our LiveStream Partner Shepparton Club, who’s generous support allowed us to do this and provide access, free for everyone.”
