Seymour’s Ellie Fuhrmeister becomes a Qualified Life Member of the Goulburn Valley League.
On Saturday, Seymour Netball player Ellie Furhmeister will be awarded a Qualified Life Membership of the Goulburn Valley League having played her 200th A Grade game. GVL Board Deputy Chair Jason Sherlock will be on hand to present Ellie her life membership.
Ellie’s A Grade journey began back in 2013, straight from the juniors ranks. During this time Ellie has had 8 final appearances with 3 premierships, 2015, 2019 & in 2022 Ellie played and coached the A Grade to success, making her a 3 time Premiership Player.
Ellie has also represented the Club in the GVL Netball Open Interleague team on 3 occasions. Her experience and dedication to junior development was recognised and she was appointed the coach of the 15 & Under GVL squads on two occasions.
After a year of uncertainty, in 2021 Ellie took on her biggest challenge yet and was appointed A Grade playing coach, a role she held until the end of the 2024 season.
Ellie continues to be a key player in the A Grade Team. She is a role model for Seymour’s junior players.
Ellie’s passion for netball is obvious, her dedication to the Seymour FNC is unwavering and she has cemented herself as a legend of Seymour FNC.
We congratulate Ellie on her Life Membership of the League.
