Shepparton’s Mackenzie O’Dwyer to represent Victoria at the National Netball Championships 2025.
Emerging national talent is set to shine when the 2025 National Netball Championships return this week.
Netball Australia’s 17 & Under and 19 & Under pathway competitions will be contested across the week of April 10-16 at Sydney’s Netball Central.
Mackenzie O’Dwyer (Shepparton FNC & Bendigo Strikers) has been selected to represent Victoria in the 19 & Under team. Mackenzie is a seasoned athlete in the Netball Victoria pathway with multiple appearances at the National Netball Championships (NNC) already under her belt, plus selection in the Australian 17/U squad.
This championship will be Mackenzie’s third time representing Victoria (including co-captaining the 17/U side last year).
Mackenzie has also represented the GVL in multiple Association Championships teams as well as Interleague teams.
The National Netball Championships has provided an opportunity for developing athletes, coaches, umpires and officials to prosper since its inception in 1985, giving birth to countless prominent Origin Australian Diamonds and Suncorp Super Netball athletes.
The week of netball action will include representative teams from every state and territory across the country, contesting for titles across the two age groups.
Netball New South Wales will host competing squads from the Australian Capital Territory, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia.
