Seymour FNC will celebrate four player milestones this weekend. The club had this to say about each player:
*** 250 Games Milestone ***
Congratulations Andrea McKenzie!
Wow—250 games! What an incredible milestone, Andrea. Your dedication and passion for the club over so many years is truly inspiring. From your early days in U17s to becoming a dominant force in the midcourt, it’s been amazing to witness your growth and leadership on and off the court.
Your accolades speak volumes: five-time Club Best & Fairest, GVL B Grade Sandra Cox League Medal winner and runner-up, and a proud member of the 2022 B Grade Premiership team. Your impact goes far beyond the scoreboard—whether it’s assisting with rosters, writing social media posts, or managing teams, you’ve been an invaluable part of the club’s heartbeat.
In 2023, you welcomed your beautiful son Harvey and made a triumphant return to the court in 2024, clinching your fifth Club B&F—an extraordinary comeback! You’ve also given back through leadership, including your role as assistant coach and team manager in 2017 for B Res.
And now, the ultimate recognition: SFNC Life Membership. This honor is so well-deserved and a fitting tribute to your unwavering commitment to the club.
Congratulations again, Andy—what a legacy you’ve built. Here’s to celebrating your 250th and your 100th Club game in style!
*** 100 Game Milestone ***
🎉 Congratulations Bridie Cantwell – 100 Club Games! 🎉
We’re thrilled to celebrate Bridie Cantwell on reaching the incredible milestone of 100 club games!
Bridie made her debut in 2018 as part of our very first GVL Under 15 team, where she immediately made an impact—winning the Club’s Best & Fairest and finishing equal 4th in the League in her debut season.
Known for her ability to read the play and anticipate her opponents, Bridie has become a key figure in our B Grade defensive end, with regular appearances in the A Grade side across the past four seasons earning an A Grade position in 2024 and 2025.
A valued contributor to our 2022 B Grade and A Grade Premierships, Bridie’s dedication and team spirit continue to shine in 2025, as she now takes on the Primary Carer Vest, supporting and guiding others across our teams.
Well done, Bridie – we’re so proud of you!

Congratulations Ruby Martin – 100 Club Games!
A huge congratulations to Ruby Martin, who recently played her 100th club game – an incredible milestone and a testament to her commitment and impact over the years!
Ruby debuted in 2018 as part of our first-ever Under 15 team, quickly proving herself as a reliable young talent under the post. She made an immediate impact, cementing her spot in the goal circle and famously scoring the winning goal in a thrilling B Grade Premiership win in 2022.
After taking time away from the court to focus on her studies, Ruby made her return in 2024, stepping into the A Grade team – this time at the opposite end of the court. Her height and strength in defence have made her a standout, with her ability to rebound becoming a key asset to the team. With that said she is still a reliable and accurate goaler who can work her magic when asked.
Ruby’s consistent performances haven’t gone unnoticed, finishing 4th in the SFNC Best & Fairest in back-to-back seasons, and was also awarded the 2019 U17 SFNC Best & Fairest.
Congratulations on reaching your 100th Club game.

Congratulations Layne Lewis
Layne recently played her 100th SFNC game.
Layne debuted in 2018 with the Lions’ inaugural U15 team in the GVL, quickly establishing herself as a key player. Known for her versatility, she seamlessly transitions between offensive and defensive roles in the midcourt. Her contributions have been instrumental in securing two premiership flags for the B Reserve side in recent seasons. In 2024, she was appointed Vice Captain, reflecting her leadership qualities and commitment to the team.
Layne has a positive approach both on and off the court, earning the respect of her teammates. Her encouraging demeanor and supportive nature contribute to a strong team dynamic, making her not only a valuable player but also a trusted leader among her peers.
Congratulations on reaching your 100th Club game.
